Ahead of the forthcoming general election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched the INEC Result Viewing (IReV) portal.
The INEC IReV portal allows everyone who has access to the internet to view live election results after they have been compiled and recorded at polling units. Incidentally, the commission has encouraged Nigerians to make use of the election results portal.
The amended Electoral Act, which President Muhammadu Buhari signed into law in February 2022, allows INEC to implement some innovations to improve the conduct of elections in Nigeria.

How to Register on INEC Result Viewing portal (IReV)
Follow the steps below to create an account.
Step 1: Visit the official INEC IReV portal here >>.https://www.inecelectionresults.ng/
Step 2: Click on the “Create account” link.
Step 3: Fill in your names, email address, phone number, and choose your password
Step 4: Click on the sign-in button
Step 5: Select your state of origin and click on the “continue” button. An account activation email will be been sent to your email.
Step 6: Login to your email address to get the activation code, fill it in the space provided, and click on the “activate” button.
You are done.
